Campaign Setting:
The world is a harsh place. The wilds between the realms of Dragons and Giants are where many of the little folk find haven and keeping it safe is hard. Travelers often leave offerings at the shrines on the paths from fishing villages to mining outposts in the wilds of the mountains between the two world-shattering forces. Come and see the wonders and dangers of a world where you’re not the biggest in the realm!
One-shot Overview:
The Tunnels of Moak are the main thoroughfare through the north-south mountain range dividing the realm of dragons and the territory of giants. An ancient red dragon is known to roost above the tunnels in a well-known and best traversable east-west pass in the mountain range. The Tunnels of Moak allow for caravans travelling between Southport and the Northern Kingdoms to pass under the dragon without paying tribute – or their lives.
Seasons are changing, and with them, many travelers come south for the fishing and other bounties brought in through Southport. But some caravans are going silent. With missing caravans in the Tunnels of Moak, The Knights of the Way – guards for the pass – are looking for adventurers to go in and find out what is causing the travelers and caravans to disappear as reports have started to come in about a backup on the northern side of the Tunnels.
This adventure is for characters of 3rd level using the 2024 D&D Ruleset.
