Dragons & Drafts (Cthulhu) @ BRT

Event Details: This is a beginner-friendly, mini adventure for Pulp Cthulhu, a Call of Cthulhu variant, taking place on Wednesday, April 12.

This event is part of our Dragons & Drafts series (learn more here) and is hosted at Brew Ridge Taps. This event begins at 5:30, but Travis, the Game Master, will be there at 5 if you’d like to arrive early! The game will run until at least 9pm. If you’ve never played or have loads of experience, everyone is welcome to play!*

*Dragons & Drafts benefits local bars/breweries by bringing in customers during off-peak hours and we encourage players to purchase food and/or beer. To this end, players must be 21+ to participate in Dragons & Drafts events.

About Pulp Cthulhu:

Stand up against the horrors of the Mythos in Pulp Cthulhu! It’s the no-holds-barred, full-on, high-octane version of Cthulhu where you play action hereos! You’ll have weird science, psychic powers, magic, and more on your side to fight the forces of evil. In this scenario, our hereos are attending the auction for a device most curious: supposedly a scientist has invented a device capable of disintegrating any form of matter. Such a thing is far too dangerous for just anyone to have, so an old friend has contracted you to go the auction, verify the disintegrator’s authenticity, and buy it if it’s real. But you’re not the only ones who want it!

Pulp Cthulhu (like classic Call of Cthulhu) is mechanically simple and easy to learn. No experience with Cthulhu or RPGs in general is required. I will provide pregenerated character sheets for all players, though if you wish to make your own Pulp Hero in advance, go for it!
