Bring Back Game Night
There's a game out there for everyone!
And we’ll help you find it! With so many great new games out there, it can be overwhelming to look for your next favorite title. At Just Games Lexington, you can browse over 500 games organized into helpful sections or let us guide you based on your group size, age, and what games you’ve enjoyed in the past. While we haven’t played every single game in our store (yet!), we make it our mission to at least understand the basic mechanisms of the games we sell so that we can help you find the perfect fit.
This broad category generally includes light to medium weight games like Azul, Castle Panic, and Ticket to Ride, to name a few of the many family-level games in our shop.
Board games don’t always have to be a competition. Join forces with your friends and family to solve mysteries, save the world, or go on a dungeon-diving adventure!
This age old category includes familiar names like chess, and Go as well as modern titles like Azul and Qwirkle. Some of the best two-player games are abstract, like Hive and Onitama.
This broad category generally includes more strategic games with mechanics like worker placement, resource management, and deck-building. Eurogames tend to have less player interaction and luck, so players can focus on optimizing their own strategy. Agricola is a classic example of this category.
As the name suggests, these games are great for a large group. There are the raunchy games like Cards Against Humanity, the team-based association games like Codenames and Dixit, and the social-deduction games like One Night Ultimate Werewolf and Resistance. Most party games are easy to learn and quick to play!
There are kids games available for tykes as young as 2-years-old! These scaled down games are great for teaching colors, practicing fine-motor skills, and the always-important lesson of waiting ones turn. Many popular titles, like Catan, have a junior version.
These games involve physical skill, whether you’re balancing a tower in Jenga or trying to score on your opponent in Klask. Some games involve a careful placement of a block or piece, like in Drop It. Dexterity games are usually also great party or family games.
