After-School Board Game Camp for Ages 9 to 14

Board game camp is an opportunity to play new and interesting board games with peers, fostering friendships and fun! The benefits of board games, aside from a plain old good time, are many. They teach good sportsmanship, help develop children’s executive function, lengthen attention spans, and soothe anxiety for kids who prefer more structure in their social interactions.

What are the dates/times?

This after-school club meets every Wednesday afternoon from 3:30 to 5:30. For this type of club to work, kids must arrive by 3:30 so that we can begin game instruction for everyone at the same time. Leaving early is discouraged because it disrupts the game, but if it is necessary please note that in the comment section of your reservation.

How much does the club cost?

We can provide the best experience for your child when we are well prepared! This is reflected in our price schedule:

• Cheapest: prepay and register at the rate of $15/day (reservations may be changed with at least 48 notice with no penalty, otherwise there is a $3 fee)
• Walk-ins: $18/day for reservations made within 48 hours

If you must cancel your registration you will receive a full refund if cancelled at least 48 hours in advance.

How do I sign up?

Use the RSVP box below and supply an email that you check often (add zander@justgameslex.com to your safe senders list). Please provide a phone number and your child’s age. Note anything we should know about your child in the comment section (allergies, behavioral/learning differences, etc.).

What else should I know?

We will follow whatever CDC, federal, and state guidelines are currently in place for preventing the spread of COVID-19 with regards to masking. All staff will be fully vaccinated, including booster shots. Please email us if you have any questions or concerns!
