Magic: the Gathering Chaos Sealed
Format: Each player receives a random prerelease kit from a past Standard expansion set that doesn’t use Play Boosters (see image above for examples). Every player will open their kit and then build a minimum 40-card deck with the contents and basic lands provided by Just Games. Your deck composition may be changed between games and matches and does not need to be “reset” to it’s original list at the start of each match.
Magic: the Gathering is intended for ages 13+ due to complexity, but if you are younger, know the rules well, and would like to participate, please arrive 30 minutes early so the shopkeepers can assess your readiness for the tournament. This only needs to be done once, so if you’ve played here before, please disregard.
Prizes: Foil promo pack for 3-0 records, regular promo pack for 2-1 records, as well as random door prize promo packs.
Make sure you are registered with a Wizards Companion account prior to the draft! The event code is VRMXNXE.
Sealed is a great way to play Magic on an even playing field because you don’t bring any cards from home. It’s also a great way to grow your collection since you keep all the cards you draft.
