The Merchant’s Son

Kadrin Shale, the son of a wealthy merchant, has been kidnapped from his home in Everlund, near the Silverwood forest.  His father, Ennath Shale has put out a reward for his safe return, he suspects that a local cult may be to blame.  

This Dungeons and Dragons 5e adventure is for 6th level characters.  Each player can have an uncommon magical item, and a potion of healing.

This event runs from 5pm to 9pm on Wednesday, September 18th. The event takes place in Heliotrope’s outdoor garden seating. We ask that you please make sure you close your tab and turn in your dishes/glasses prior to 8pm when they close, but you may remain and play till 9pm or everyone is finished.

*Dragons & Drafts benefits local bars/breweries by bringing in customers during off-peak hours and we encourage players to purchase food and/or beer. To this end, players must be 21+ to participate in Dragons & Drafts events.

About Heliotrope:

We strive to cook and brew with as many local ingredients as possible, from produce grown within a few miles of the brewery, to barley harvested and malted here in Virginia. Our walls are hung with rotating local artwork, not televisions, and our taproom is set with community tables intended to promote conversation with friends, new and old, over a shared meal or a round of beers.

    Starting with Final Fantasy on the NES, Justin has been playing some sort of RPG for 30+ years. Relatively new to tabletop games, Justin has been playing D&D for about four years, and DMing for three. An avid Magic the gathering player he enjoys open ended systems that reward creativity and problem solving. Justin loves learning from his players whether they have years of experience or have literally never played before.
