Learn to play Dungeons & Dragons
Come learn to play the most iconic and popular tabletop role-playing game of all time! Maybe you’re curious because you’ve just seen the new D&D movie. Whatever the reason, we’re standing by to show you the ropes and make an adventurer out of you!
You can stop in anytime to get a 10-15 minute overview of key game mechanics and advice on next steps. Alternatively, come by for a full hour and half long demo session where you’ll put what you learn into practice.
We’ll be playing an adventure called “Voyage to Stormwreck Isle.” During this adventure, you’ll practice concepts such as combat, initiative, calculating your dice results, and damage. The best way to learn D&D is by jumping right in and having fun!
Check out the schedule below for start times of the 1.5 hour demo. The cost to play “Voyage of Stormwreck Isle” is $5, but if you pick up a Starter or Essentials D&D Kit, we’ll take $5 off! You’ll also receive a dice bag and D&D notebook. You don’t need to bring any materials with you to play, we will provide everything.

Mike MDungeon Master
Mike joined the staff of Just Games Lexington in Summer 2022 but has been a regular player at our shop since we first opened in 2018. He has been playing Dungeons & Dragons since then and regularly DMs for his friends in various home campaigns. Mike has worked with kids for over 10 years as both a volunteer and employee for various Young Life camps, and he can’t wait to share his love of D&D with the next generation.
