Lost Caverns of Ixalan Draft

It’s time for a journey to the center of Ixalan!

The Lost Caverns of Ixalan sends us on a journey deep within the plane, encountering all kinds of treasures, exciting creatures, and maybe even new friends along the way.

Format: Each player receives three Lost Caverns of Ixalan draft booster packs. Every player will open one pack to start, pick one card, and pass the remainder to the left. This pick-and-pass repeats until there are no cards left. Players then open their second pack, pick a card, and pass to their right, etc. The last pack is passed to the left again.

After all cards have been drafted, the players will build a minimum 40-card deck with their draft pool and basic lands provided by Just Games. Your deck composition may be changed between games and matches and does not need to be “reset” to it’s original list at the start of each match.

Event Policies: Advanced registration is encouraged to attend this event as each tournament is limited to 20 people. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early because the tournament will begin promptly at the listed start time and we like to go over set specific mechanics beforehand. Magic: the Gathering is recommended for ages 13+ but younger players who know the rules of the game and can play in a timely fashion are welcome to attend.

We use the Magic: the Gathering Companion app to organize tournaments. If possible, please download this app on your phone prior to the tournament and log in to your account (same as Arena) or create a new one.
