Join us on a journey through Middle-earth like never before! This new Magic: The Gathering set is based on the iconic world of J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings. Experience the thrill of adventure as you explore familiar locations and encounter legendary characters from the beloved fantasy series. With new creatures, spells, and artifacts inspired by the magic of Middle-Earth, this set promises to be a must-play for Magic: The Gathering fans and Lord of the Rings enthusiasts alike.

Format: Each player receives three LOTR: Tales of Middle-Earth draft booster packs. Players will open their first pack, select one card, and pass the remaining cards to the player on their left. Players continue picking and passing cards until all cards have been drafted. Then players open their second pack and pass to the right, and the last pack is passed to the left again.

Players will build a minimum 40-card deck with cards they have drafted and basic lands provided by Just Games. Your deck composition may be changed between games and matches and does not need to be “reset” to its original list at the start of each match.

Tournaments are run using the Magic Companion App. If possible, please download this app to your smartphone or tablet prior to the event and create an account (or use your Arena account if you have one). You can still participate without the app.

Event Policies: Advanced registration is highly encouraged to attend this event as each tournament is limited to 20 people. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early because the tournament will begin promptly at the listed start time and we like to go over set specific mechanics beforehand. Magic: the Gathering is recommended for ages 13+ but younger players who know the rules of the game and can play in a timely fashion are welcome to attend.

Prize Support: 2-1 records will receive a promo pack and 3-0 records will receive a foil promo pack.
