A Magic: the Gathering Standard Tournament
Format: Constructed – Standard, 3-rounds, best of 3, swiss pairing
Bring your janky homebrew, your customized net-deck, even a precon with some upgrades will do, just come out and play! There are currently 9 standard legal sets (see below). Now is a great time to get into Standard since old sets just rotated off the list with the release of Bloomburrow in August!
Standard decks are minimum 60-card decks with an optional (but recommended) 15-card sideboard. Cards must be printed in Standard-legal sets (see below for list and banned cards). We’ve filtered our card inventory for Standard-legal sets on our singles website, but note there may still be banned cards under this filter and previous printings of legal cards will not show up.
Prize Support: Store credit to winning records as well as a promo pack (foil promo pack for 3-0 records).
Tournament Policies: All tournaments begin promptly at the listed start time, so please arrive 5-10 minutes early to check-in and pay the entry fee. Good sportsmanship is expected at all times. We use the Magic: the Gathering Companion app to organize tournaments. If possible, please download this app on your phone prior to the tournament and log in to your account (same as Arena) or create a new one.
