Magic: the Gathering Booster Draft

Format: Each player receives three Theros: Beyond Death draft booster packs. Every player will open one pack to start, pick one card, and pass the remainder to the left. This pick-and-pass repeats until there are no cards left. Players then open their second pack, pick a card, and pass to their right, etc. The last pack is passed to the left again.

After all cards have been drafted, the players will build a minimum 40-card deck with their draft pool and basic lands provided by Just Games. Your deck composition may be changed between games and matches and does not need to be “reset” to it’s original list at the start of each match.

Magic: the Gathering is intended for ages 13+ due to complexity, but if you are younger, know the rules well, and would like to participate, please arrive 30 minutes early so the shopkeepers can assess your readiness for the tournament. This only needs to be done once, so if you’ve played here before, please disregard.

Winning records will receive a promo pack with the winner receiving a foil promo pack.

Drafts are a great way to play Magic on an even playing field because you don’t bring any cards from home. It’s also a great way to grow your collection since you keep all the cards you draft.
