Welcome to the land of Kitakami, where people and Pokémon live harmoniously with nature. Folktales abound, but not all is as it seems… Uncover the mystery of the masked Legendary Pokémon Ogerpon, appearing as four fearsome types of Tera Pokémon ex, and team up with more newly discovered Pokémon, like Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex and Sinistcha ex. Growing in power, Greninja, Dragapult, and Magcargo dazzle as Tera Pokémon ex, and more ACE SPEC cards round out the festivities in the Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet—Twilight Masquerade expansion!

Format: 

Prereleases are a fun way to be able to play with a new set that hasn’t been released yet. The tournament will be played using the packs in your prerelease kit. Each player will have about 30 minutes to construct a 40-card deck with the contents of their kit and energy provided by the shop. No trading is to be done until the event is over. We will use single-game matches for 3 rounds, using Age-Modified Swiss Pairings. Each round is 20 minutes long. Players are expected to be on time and to play the entire event. Players must already know how to play properly, this is not a learn-to-play event.

Each Build & Battle prerelease kit includes:

• Four Pokémon TCG Twilight Masquerade booster packs.
• One of four possible new Promo cards with the Twilight Masquerade logo stamped on them.
• A selection of cards to help competitive players build a deck

Event Policies:

Players must have a Pokémon Player ID to participate. If you do not already have a Player ID, please arrive early to register your Pokémon Trainer Club account and receive a Player ID. If you registered for a Player ID at our After-School Club or the Pokémon Club at the Rockbridge Regional Library in Lexington, it is likely we have your Pokémon ID on file.

Prize Support: Each participant will receive 2 Prize Packs for Playing in all 3 Rounds as well as 3 booster packs during play.
