Let’s return to the land of fairy tales, knights, and witches in Wilds of Eldraine. A plane cloaked in mystery and fantasy, Eldraine is a fairy tale–inspired plane that relishes in the whimsy of a good tale, but with a special Magic twist. This time, we’re venturing beyond the scenic castles and into the wilds, a land filled with faeries, giants, and more.
Wilds of Eldraine is also your first look into the Multiverse following the Phyrexian invasion. While our heroes may have stopped Elesh Norn’s plans, the consequences of this are on full display here. You’ll meet old friends (and enemies), explore new corners of Eldraine, and discover how the Multiverse is healing from the Invasion.
Format: Each player receives three Wilds of Eldraine draft booster packs. Every player will open one pack to start, pick one card, and pass the remainder to the left. This pick-and-pass repeats until there are no cards left. Players then open their second pack, pick a card, and pass to their right, etc. The last pack is passed to the left again.
After all cards have been drafted, the players will build a minimum 40-card deck with their draft pool and basic lands provided by Just Games. Your deck composition may be changed between games and matches and does not need to be “reset” to it’s original list at the start of each match.
Tournaments are run using the Magic Companion App. If possible, please download this app to your smartphone or tablet prior to the event and create an account (or use your Arena account if you have one). You can still participate without the app. The event code is ZQ6Q3JW.
