Harnessing the devastating power of forge world technology in their arsenal, the Vanguard are steeped in radiation, making them a deadly presence that spells doom for any who dare to approach. While their victories are swift, the radiation slowly eats away at even their heavy armor, leading to a grim fate as they exterminate their enemies with radium carbines.

Skitarii Vanguard are equipped with helmets and rebreathers, armed with radium carbines to obliterate their foes. Encased in heavy Skitarii warplate adorned with the Adeptus Mechanicus symbol, each trooper is outfitted with sensors, antennae, and monitors. With bionic legs replacing their lower limbs, they exude a cold, cybernetic aura tailored for the harsh terrains of Mars.

The unit may include an Alpha armed with a radium or arc pistol and a choice of close combat weapon (power sword, taser goad, or arc maul), while three models can wield special weapons such as a transuranic arquebus, arc rifle, or plasma caliver. Additionally, one model can be upgraded to an Alpha equipped with an enhanced data-tether or an omnispex, highlighting the data-centric nature of the Adeptus Mechanicus.

This kit contains all the components needed to assemble either ten Skitarii Rangers or ten Skitarii Vanguard, totaling 124 components. Included are twenty-three heads (twelve of which are Vanguard variants), twenty-five weapons, a transfer sheet, one Citadel 60×35.5mm Oval Base, and ten Citadel 25mm Round Bases.
