Description

The Astra Militarum stands as the Imperium’s unyielding shield, a vast force of soldiers holding the line against the horrors of the galaxy. Among these regiments, few are as renowned as the Death Korps of Krieg. These grim warriors embrace war with unwavering zeal, viewing death in battle as the highest honor. Their armies are built for attrition, enduring relentless assaults before striking back with overwhelming force.

Leading this formidable force is Lord Marshal Varnan Dreir, a seasoned commander who fights from the front atop his loyal steed, wielding a laspistol and sabre. At his side rides a squad of ten Death Riders, fearless cavalry who charge across no man’s land with lances poised and sabres drawn. Supporting them are six Combat Engineers—experts in demolitions, sapping, and brutal close-quarters trench warfare. Tasked with clearing obstacles and neutralizing mines, they then bring their shotguns and trench clubs to bear against the enemy. Rounding out the force is an Artillery Team, equipped with towed weaponry capable of obliterating enemy squads, breaching fortifications, and crippling armored targets.

This set also marks the debut of Codex: Astra Militarum, a 168-page hardback book featuring an exclusive cover. Inside, you’ll find rich lore, updated rules, and stunning artwork. Alongside the miniatures and codex, the box includes a full deck of datacards and a Death Korps of Krieg Transfer Sheet, offering over 800 individual markings, texts, and numerals.

These miniatures require assembly and painting. For best results, use Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
